Beyond Bound Boston - One website for two entities the Boston Immigration Justice Accompaniment Network (BIJAN or "Beyond") - a community network of individuals, faith communities, and other activist groups working to reduce the escalating harm of the immigration system in the current political context; and the Beyond Bond and Legal Defense Fund (BBLDF) - which raises money for immigration bonds to free people in ICE prisons in Massachusetts and Rhode Island or those detained elsewhere who are from or returning to MA.
Ground Avelo - Avelo is the first commercial airline in the U.S. to sign a deportation charter contract with ICE. Unmarked, secretive flights. No guarantee of due process. Public money subsidizing mass deportations. This website is part of indivisible and provides information about the work being done to stop the airline.

LGBTQIA+
MASS Equality - the leading statewide grassroots advocacy organization working to ensure that everyone across Massachusetts can thrive from cradle to grave without discrimination and oppression based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition - MATPC works to ensure the wellbeing, safety and lived equity of all trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive community members in Massachusetts.
Transgender Emergency Fund of Massachusetts - Providing assistance for low-income and homeless transgender people living in Massachusetts since 2008.
Safe Homes - program supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+) young people, and their straight allies, between the ages of 14 and 23.
Civil Rights
Providers' Council - In the 1970s, a movement began to include vulnerable individuals as part of the community. Social workers and other professional caregivers fought for the right for people to live as part of society. The deinstitutionalization movement launched a number of nonprofit organizations providing services to vulnerable individuals in the communities where they lived. For example, instead of orphanages, alternatives such as adoption, foster homes and community settings were considered for children. This movement brought people back into society, encouraging them to live and work within the community.
NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund - the fund’s most well-known case was Brown v. Board of Education, the 1954 civil rights case that desegregated schools. They are still using the tools of litigation, advocacy, and public education today to fight for racial justice, particularly but not exclusively for African Americans.
Indigenous
Massachusetts Center for Native American Awareness - assists Native American residents with basic needs and educational expenses; preserve Native American cultural traditions; advance public knowledge and understanding that helps dispel inaccurate information about Native Americans; and to work towards racial equality by addressing inequities across the region.
Disability
The American Association of People With Disabilities - As a national disability-led and cross-disability rights organization, AAPD advocates for full civil rights for over 70 million Americans with disabilities. They do this by promoting equal opportunity, economic power, independent living, and political participation.
Disability Rights and Education Fund - Founded in 1979, DREDF is a leading national civil rights law and policy center directed by individuals with disabilities and parents who have children with disabilities. Their mission is to advance the civil and human rights of people with disabilities through legal advocacy, training, education, and public policy and legislative development.
Arc of Massachusetts - Through advocacy, programs that promote inclusion, and engaging the community, The Arc creates tangible changes in the community and in the lives of people with disabilities.
Association of Developmental Disability Service Providers - mission is to promote and ensure strength of community-based providers so provider members can be successful in improving quality, access and value of services in the community. ADDP is committed to enhancing political, financial, and educational health of member organizations that serve people with disabilities, including intellectual and developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries.
Disability Law Center Massachusetts Protection and Advocacy - is a private, non-profit organization responsible for providing protection and advocacy for the rights of Massachusetts residents with disabilities. DLC receives federal, state and private funding but is not part of the state or federal government. As the P&A, federal law provides DLC extensive access authority.
Environment
Tipping Point 01545 - is a volunteer group of Shrewsbury residents who care about climate change and the environment. Through their combined efforts, Shrewsbury residents, businesses and Town government can reduce our climate and environmental impact in order to thrive in a sustainable future.
